So I stop by the car wash this morning. That's the right rear corner of my 4 Runner in the pic. Anyway, as I'm paying for the "special" these 3 started rehearsing some fun little choreographed routine with the hoses. Curiosity peaked so I asked, "America's Got Talent?" They laughed and said, "No." I finished paying, and walked about 10 feet before a man called my name. I stopped, turned and thought, Do I know him? Looks familiar. What show did we work on? He introduced himself (didn't know him) and said the skit/dance was for the new Leno show. Would I be interested in being in it? I've purposely spent 20 years BEHIND the camera. No way I was going to say "yes." Not ready for my close up EVER!
He understood but I had to ask how he knew my name. "It's on your Starbucks cup." Keen eye and pretty cheeky but it did appease that odd feeling of "how in the hell did he know my name!?!"
I must also point out that this shoot, although small ( 8 people tops), didn't have a Location Manager.....because it's a non union show. No way on gawd's green earth would I support that. Solidarity!

OK, so we were pouring beer at the PA Art and Wine Festival this weekend. We were right by the main band stand so were bopping around the booth. Someone said--"Great moves, Dana!" so I turned around and gave a quizzical look to someone I didn't know. She pointed to my name tag.......OOPS!
I felt pretty dumb.....
