Sad. My apologies. Each day has been chock full of experiences. Thus MANY frigging pics have been snapped, culled, and uploaded. All this takes time. So back to the Topaki Palace, then on to the ????.....

After this lovely palace we wandered and wove our way
to the World Famous Grand Bazaar.

It goes on forever.
Through the Grand Bazaar out to an area where books are sold.
Past the University of Istanbul
OMG having a brain fart. Cannot remember the name of this mosque.
It will come to me I hope but until it does simply enjoy the snaps.

Cemetery
Bright colors everywhere.
Backgammon is THE game. Near this spot was a teeny tiny goldsmith's shop and everyone was cramming inside. I opted to climb the adjacent stairs. Glad I did. Got this view:
Met these three gentleman and gestered if I could take their photo.
The gentleman in the middle pointed to his shop and invited me in.
Silversmith. Didn't want me to buy anything just wanted me to see his shop.
A genuine travel memory of generosity.
Rejoined the group and onward we went.
It's 11:30pm. The sandman is beating me into submission.
AND I'm still not done posting pictures from Day 2.
What can I say but more tomorrow or maybe the next day.
One can hope and pray. Sigh.
