End of The Road

I'm not a night owl by nature. Dr. Kim is. During one of his nightly sojourns he met up  with Toby Brocklehurst, 6'6' Brit who could be my friend Ilt's fraternal twin brother. Toby arrived in Cuba 22 years ago and never left. Seems he was having a party outside Pinar Del Rio and Vinales and we were invited to partake. I thought it was at his house. That wasn't the case. We left at 9am and by 1:30pm found a little bit of heaven.
To my chagrin and no wrinkle shirt I discovered Toby was throwing a shindig at a public park not his home.
We were literally at the end of the road where we found...
A lovely beach
Crystal clear sea
Food awaiting
Toby's friends.
Sea shells.
Art shots
Young European travelers.
Bottles of rum. Had two mojitos and cut myself off.
A boat ride with Besty (lives in Laurel Canyon, I kid you not) and Victoria
(lives in England).
Starfish
and a stellar sunset. Long day, lovely day.
