Out In The Country

A true day of adventure in route to Toby's.

Lush countryside awaited outside Havana.
All modes of transport in Cuba. A most interesting thing is that hitching a ride is a vital means of transport. Men, women children wait for hours hoping someone will provide a ride. Patience and disappointment a way of existence.
And if you don't get a ride you walk. Simple as that.
And lest you forget where you are.
Now this was spectacular!
Spied this as we entered Vinales and made certain we stopped on our way out!
Time for some fresh coconut milk. 2 cucs each.
Chop Chop
DK and LK
YUM!
What's in the box is for sale for those passing by.
Root vegetable of sorts.
A tiny town
