Street Color and Smiles

Visiting the Art School made me happy as a clam.  Truly appreciated Oriel and Kim's patience as I tromped about scouting every nook and cranny. Afterwards we visited Callejon De Hamel, a street that is an art project and where I was able to snap my MOST favorite image of the entire trip. 

This young boy in his school uniform was nearby our bus as we prepared to leave.  I handed him 2 of the baseball cards I carried with me throughout the trip. He took them cautiously and examined them carefully.  Skipping after me he repeated, "Lady, Lady." I knew he wanted more and dutifully gave him the remaining two I had. He was so pleased. Before we shut the door I asked him to hold them up and asked for a smile. Click! My favorite image.
