Continuity

FINALLY got the internal clock back on Pacific Standard Time.  Took about 4 days of odd sleep hours to do so but I'm BACK!  Thus the pre dawn sojourn up the Charlie Turner Trail this morning.  Here's the City of Angels as I coming back down the trail.  The Observatory in front, downtown LA and urban sprawl  behind it.

70's today, November 25, 2013. 

Must say it did my heart wonders to take the hike and feel the burn but more importantly to see Marina on the trail.  Marina is 82 and does the trek nearly every day.  Ramona used to love Marina dashing up to her and sitting waiting for a hello.  All very sweet.  I'd not seen her the week before I left and was concerned.  Thankfully as I made my way back down I noticed her coming up the trail. Felt a smile cross my face.  We hugged, chatted, then parted ways.

As I neared the very bottom of the trail saw Councilman La Bonge and his cohort just beginning the trek. A hearty "hello there" was exchanged.
