Sunshine and Slea Head

The day was gorgeous. You'll see. Take a look. Couldn't take a bad picture if I tried.
Walked over to the nearby grave yard for a look see  You know me and my love cemeteries. Hanna's American flag blew in the wind.
Liked this grave stone
Found a beach and took a stroll.  See I'm not the only one up early
Sunrise reflecting on the sand
THIS made me smile. There had been a smattering of rain, looked in the distance and eye spied this magical moment.
Wee roads as in I nearly wet myself a few times when a bus or truck passed.
This place had my name on it.
This too. Some TLC and it would be fabulous.
I can dream can't I?
Actual colors as storm clouds and the sun fought
Hello
Guys climbing back up a trail which is found only when you look over the wall.
There's the trail. Well I have to climb down it don't I?
This is look half way down.  Played with the colors in my camera.
View from the there looking up along the coast.
Slea Head. Notice the road.  Busses go on this road. Rather unnerving if you ask me and I'll surmise what the prayer group is for. Oh wait, that's the son of the Big guy on the cross isn't it.  Oops.
Searching for Robert Mitchum. Ryan's Daughter reference of course.
This was Bridgette she had a bum leg.  I gave her some chips.
She liked the view as well.
Road got a little wider so I snuck a shot from the side view mirror.
Nice picnic spot
Isn't this scenery gorgeous?!?
I'm thinking the S is missing.
This hill needed to be climbed.
Getting closer
Lovely view half way up
Looking back down from where I started. You can see Seamus in the parking lot if you squint.
Keep going
I spy something on the crest
WELL worth the climb!!
Heading back down
Absolutely beautiful.  Back in the car and found another small graveyard. So an artsy fartsy shot evolved
However, this nice composition was right across the road.  Loved the colors of the reeds, trees, hedges, road, sheep, sky and clouds.
Was heading back and stopped to snap this hillside POV.
Amazed how these stone walls remain intact after hundreds of years. Hillsides everywhere are dotted with them. Property markers I think.
Late afternoon family stroll
The End
